The Upton Grey Women’s Institute was founded back in 1916 and today has over 30 members. It meets 19:30 on the first Thursday in each month in Upton Grey Village Hall. This particular W.I. is definitely not “Jam and Jerusalem”. Apart from hearing good speakers and having a reading group, the institute organises visits to interesting places and theatre trips several times a year. They also take part in village events like the Fete and the Flower Shows. Joining the Upton Grey W.I. is an ideal way to get to know people and make new friends.
