The Upton Grey Post Office and Shop are run by Penny Hardie, who lives in the village. Penny likes to offer an efficient service with very few queues and a friendly face. She is helped by Mary, Vicki, Sue, Lou, Andrew, Jane, and Jess the Dog.
Opening Hours
The Shop is open Mon-Fri 9.00-5.00 (except Wednesday 9.00-1.00) and Saturday 9.00-12.30. The Post Office is open Mon-Fri 9.00-12.30 and Saturday 10.00-12.00.

The Village Shop stocks ~1600 items and its goods and services include:

Over the years the shop has developed a great reputation for its superb range of cheeses, quality fresh bread that is baked and delivered the same morning, fresh fruit and vegetables delivered daily, and delicious home cooked pies, quiches, roulades and gateaux. If there is something you would like that is not stocked on the shelves, the shop will do its best to obtain it for you. Orders can be placed for ANY items - just ask.
In 2003 the Post Office won two awards in the National Best Post Office awards, one for Personal Banking and the other for Innovation. In 2004 it won Best Rural Post Office for the entire South & West Region.
